On February 8th Charlie turned 1! I absolutely cannot believe that he is one already. Time is flying! We had him baptized in the church in Perry on his actual birthday. The priest did a great job at making the ceremony very family oriented. During the ceremony he had all our nieces and nephews join us in the front of the church. It was pretty cool. Charlie thought it was all really funny for some reason so in all the pictures he is looking at the camera, smiling away. When the priest was ready to pour water on his head Charlie about jumped out of my arms because he thought it was bath time. He loves his baths!
After the baptism we had a pizza birthday party for Tyson, Charlie, my niece Bella, and my nephew Will. It was really fun and almost all of our family made it. It truly amazes me that our family can still get together as often as we can. I don't know what we would do without all of them!
I was reminded this month how short life can actually be and how things can change in an instant. My friend's 11 month old niece, Cora, was diagnosed with cancer and as we celebrated Charlie's birthday and baptism she passed away. Life really is too short to take anything for granted! Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers!

It is so great to see your boys growing up! They are just too cute. It was such a blessing to get to see you. It meant so much to me that you took the time to come down to Newton. I wish it would have been for a different reason, but it was so good to see you. We miss you guys so much!! Hopefully we can get together for a fun reason some time soon!
Man, those kids are cute, I think they take after their favorite aunt!
