"Riding My Bike"

Here is the video of Tyson riding his bike. He is so very proud of himself! Charlie is proud of him too!

Tindall Orthodontics Appreciation Day

The last 3 months I have been planning the first Patient Appreciation Day for Tindall Orthodontics (where I work part-time for those of you who don't know). It was a lot of fun but also a lot of work. Dr. Tindall went all out and we even had Willie the Wildcat there. Tyson went crazy over him. Willie started with a train ride and of all the kids on there he decided to sit by Tyson. Tyson could not have gotten any further away from him without falling off his bench. It was very cute. After the train ride Tyson followed Willie around for the next hour. Tyson thought Willie was there for his entertainment only. It was a really fun day and all the kids had a great time.

Riding the train with Willie!

Tyson's Big Day

Today was a very big day for Tyson. Most kids sit on a bicycle and they pedal. Not our Tyson. He has been working really hard to learn how to do this at school and at home. Yesterday Joel and I spent about 2 hours and many tears trying to teach him. He wanted to learn so badly and did not want to quit until he got it, but we were not successful. Today he pedaled! He is so proud of himself and he did not want to stop. Maybe he was afraid if he quit he wouldn't be able to do it again. Tonight we went for a walk with Charlie in the stroller and Tyson on his "bicycle" (big wheel). He even steered around the pile of mud waving and saying "Bye Mud". The entire time we were on a walk he kept repeating "riding a bicycle is fun!" It was a very proud mommy moment!

Charlie's First Gameday

GO K-STATE!

Thanks to Uncle Rob we had some serious rounds of cornhole. Aunt Lisa and I were the champions of the day. Unbeatable!
Tyson's big buddy!

My boy's watching the game. Charlie loved it. He watched closely for awhile and then decided that it was a pretty good place to take a nap!

Charlie lovin' life!

Charlie Tries Cereal

We decided it was time to have Charlie try some cereal the other day. Tyson thought all food was poison until he was about 15 months old. We were hoping things would go better with Charlie. You decide!

We thought maybe if we tried a different chair he would like it.
Nope!

Snapshots of the Wedding

Joellen and Ray's Wedding

My sister Joellen got married on August 23rd. Yes, for those of you keeping track that is two family weddings this month. Tyson was the ring bearer again and this time Charlie was too! From previous experiences, we decided that it would be better for Tyson to not carry a pillow, so there was no throwing of the pillow at this wedding. But don't think this wedding didn't have any chaos. The extremely annoying wedding coordinator truely believed that the 3 four year olds would know to stop at the correct pew, yeah right! On they went up to the front. My sister Jenni turned around and led them back down the aisle to the pew they were suppose to stop at. It was really cute! I will post some more snapshots soon.

What handsome devils! Yes, you too Joel!
Our attempt at a family picture!
I just couldn't resist putting this one on! How cute!
