Swimming with Charlie & Tyson

Yes, it has been warm enough to go swimming here, even for a 3 month old. He wasn't so sure at first, but by the end we did get some smiles. Tyson of course loved it!

Tyson's "New Love"

This is a story that I have to tell about Tyson. Tonight we went to Carlos O'Kelley's ("Chips" as Tyson calls it) for dinner. He loves eating the chips and salsa there so we go there often (the hostess knows him by name). Our waitress tonight was a cute young girl, so naturally Tyson flirts with her and his eyes were following her all around the resaurant. She brought our plates to the table and Tyson was so excited. She sat the first plate on the table and Tyson couldn't hold it any longer, he screamed, "I Love You!", "I Love You!" to the cute waitress. When she came back again, he shouted, "I Love You!" These words are pretty new to his vocabulary and usually the only way we get him to say this is to tell him to. Not tonight, it came out totally on his own. Joel and I could not quit laughing at him. It was one of the cutest moments so far. I am pretty sure this was the first time a customer had told her this, as she was completely shocked.

Tyson's First Field Trip

Tyson went on his first field trip this week. The parents were allowed to go to, so Joel and I loaded up Charlie and went. It was very cute to watch him interact with the other kids. It is true that your kids act so much better for other people. The little boy in the orange shirt was Tyson's partner and he was great about making Tyson hold his hand. And Tyson listened! It was also great to learn that all kids this age do not listen and have very short attention spans!

Weekend In Manhattan

The weekend started at the Time Out Corner. Joel and Tyson played a very intense game of miniature golf...

while Charlie took a nap.

Next, was a rugby game at the old stadium. Joel and Tyson ran around on the field after the game...

while Charlie smiled in his carseat.

We played at the purple park at Sonic next.
Later that afternoon we went to the lake and threw rocks in!
Charlie hung out in his seat again!
Then it was time to learn how to ride a bike!
At the end of the day it was nice to chill out on the porch!

Hanging Out With My Brother

So we thought life would change with two, but we really had no idea how much. We also expected Tyson to be jealous of his little brother, but that was not the case at all. He knew from the beginning that Charlie was coming home with us and that he was his little brother. Tyson spends as much time as he can right next to Charlie, it is so cute!
