Please Pray for Cora Paige
This is a picture of my friend's niece, Cora Paige. She has recently been diagnosed with cancer and she is only 11 months old. This story is breaking my heart and I can't seem to stop thinking about her. I am only writing about this to ask you to please pray for them! Her family is trying to keep everyone updated with their blog. The website is http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/.

Say Cheese!
This is what happens when I get the camera out to take a picture of Charlie. (I think I might take too many pictures!)
Charlie Finally Eats
We have been trying to get Charlie to eat anything besides formula for months. He absolutely will not open his mouth for me to put the food in. If I pry open his mouth with the spoon he enjoys the food, but he still will NOT open his mouth for the next bite. It really is quite frustrating. Well, the other night while we were out to eat with family we tried to get him to take a bite of the mashed potatoes. HE OPENED HIS MOUTH!! TOOK A BITE!! OPENED HIS MOUTH AGAIN!!! We were ecstatic! He hasn't done it again.

Fun in the Snow
Last year Tyson hated playing in the snow. We would spend 15 minutes getting him dressed for him to spend 3 minutes playing in the snow. Needless to say, I was not excited to do it again this year. But much to our surprise this year was the exact opposite. He loved it! So far he has gone sledding with his dad, made snow angels with Lisa and Wrigley in Perry, and convinced Grandma Baldus to build a snowman with him in Ames. Too bad all our snow melted while we were in Iowa!
Holiday Memories
December is a crazy month for us. Joel celebrated his 31st birthday on the 2nd. I followed close behind on the 19th. We also celebrated our 8th year of marriage on the 30th. And obviously we have the traditional holiday craziness with a lot of traveling. This year was especially fun because Tyson was really into everything and it was Charlie's first! Tyson was not a fan of Santa Claus and absolutely did not want that crazy man to come to his house while he was sleeping. As you can see in the pictures Santa came to Christmas and he would sit on a chair beside him but that was as close as he was going to get. Charlie on the other hand loved him. Here are some pictures of our holiday fun!
