Potty Update
I'm very happy to say that Tyson in consistently peeing in the big boy potty!! I'm not so happy to say that he is consistently pooping in his underwear! We are so proud of him for peeing in the potty! He actually tells us that he has to go pee and runs in there by himself and goes. He has not peed in his pants since the middle of last week! Pooping is a different story. We know he has to go, but he cries the whole time he is on there and then gets off, goes into his room, and poops himself. We are not sure what to do to fix this so we will take any suggestions given! The funniest part of all of this is that we have spoiled him rotten to get him to go, so now every time he goes he says, "What do I get now?" The best part is last week he picked out a Dora backpack (proud moment for Dad) at Target (his favorite store) and got to play with it when he went. So now every time he goes he hunts down that backpack and acts like he just got it for the first time! Gotta love that kid!

i was just thinking, i don't remember the training of "proper use of restroom." i think i will have to call my mom and see what i was like learning... but your story about tyson is hilarious... i actually laughed out loud a little...
Hmmm I believe my sister in law had the same problem with my niece (peeing on the potty, but refusing to poop), not sure how she solved the problem! I will let you know if I find anything out on that front.
I have heard that if you put a diaper on them and cut a hole in the bottom of it so they actually poop in the toilet makes them lose their fear!
