Tyson Stories

Tyson has been on a roll lately. He is learning so much everyday and his vocabulary is really starting to blossom. Multiple times a day he makes us laugh, so I thought I would share a few of them.

1) Tyson and I were walking through Wal-Mart yesterday doing some grocery shopping. The place was filled with flowers for Mother's Day. He looked at me and so preciously said, "Flowers for you Mommy?" Of course I had to buy them! Happy Mother's Day to me, right?

2) We were all sitting down a couple weeks ago watching the Miss America pageant. (Sad, I know!) As we were watching it Tyson says, "Like you Mommy." Of course I thought he was talking about the beauty, but it turns out the girls name was Kristen. Tyson says, "Kristen, like you Mommy." Who knew he was paying that close of attention?

3) It was time to get the boat in to have it looked at before we take it out on the lake. We went as a family and picked it up today. We dropped it off at our house and loaded back up in the car to go to the bank Appreciation Day. We are walking back to the car and Tyson runs to the back and says, "It's gone, where did it go?" We asked him what he was talking about, and he says, "The boat! It is missing!"

4) As you all know potty training has been a nightmare for us. We have tried everything! One thing we tried was to have him run around in the backyard with no clothes on to get him to see the pee come out. (I am not kidding when I say we tried EVERYTHING) Well, he has decided that it is really cool to pee outside. He drops his pants wherever he is and just lets it go. I guess I can't complain too much since he is not peeing in his pants!
