Character Award

I had a proud Mommy moment today I wanted to share.  I try to volunteer on Friday mornings at Tyson's school.  Today happened to be an assembly in the gym first thing in the morning, so I went to watch.  His school is really big on building character.  This month 4 of Tyson's classmates were chosen for the Caring Award.  Tyson was one of them.  Today the teacher picked the two most caring kids in her class and they got to go up on stage to get a certificate.  Guess who was one?  Tyson!  When his teacher said "Tyson Lundstrom" he jumped up like he knew exactly what he was doing, went up on stage walking as proudly as you can imagine, accepted is award, and stood there so proud while all the other classes were announced.  I was such a proud Mommy!
