Friday was Grandparents Lunch Day at school for Tyson. You would think that since all his grandparents live in Iowa he would not have had anyone to eat with. Wrong! When we called to tell his grandparents about it they all wanted to come. Unfortunately for Pat and Lumpy they already had plans for the weekend so they could not make it. But my mom did make it so he did not have to be alone. Joel had gone to eat with him on Monday and Tyson did not have much to do with him, so we were worried that mom would drive all the way here and Tyson wouldn't even acknowledge it. Wrong Again! I was there helping out so I got to see it all happen. Tyson walked into the gym and was looking around everywhere for Grandma. He finally found her and was so excited! They walked through the line and he did not stop smiling. It was so cute. thanks Grandma for coming! Pat and Lumpy - you are invited anytime to come eat with him. Mom promises it is worth the 10 hours of driving!
While she was here we also made sugar cookies, one of Tyson's favorite things to do. He is getting pretty good at it and it keeps his attention for quite awhile. He is so proud of the end product as you can see!
