KSU vs OU Game

We went to the KSU vs OU game last weekend and as most of you know it was very ugly. Ugly I tell you! (well, unless you are an OU fan) Since it was so ugly most of our fans left early so Joel and Tyson moved to the front row to find Willie the Wildcat. As they were standing there the cameras came up to them and Tyson and Candence, the neighbor, ended up on the jumbo-tron for about 10 seconds. If you watch the video Joel is trying to video them on the big TV. If you wait to the end you can actually make out their faces! Pretty exciting, too bad there weren't more people there to see it!

BTW-I missed this whole 10 seconds because I was watching a drunk girl wander through the bleachers trying to drink anything that was left behind by the fans. Luckily, her not so drunk boyfriend was following her around not letting her take any drinks. Boy was she mad at him!

Charlie's Photo Shoot

Friendly Neighborhood Football Game

A couple weeks ago Tyson and our neighbor, Cadence, played a mean game of football it the backyard. I am trying to convert Candence into a Packer fan (her dad is a Vikings fan!) and as you can see she is starting to come over to the right side. She was wearing the green and gold so proudly. Tyson just enjoys having someone besides Joel to play football with.

Good Game!

Pumpkin Patch

My Boys!

Our friends, Julie, Jon, and Katy Grove went to the pumpkin patch with us last weekend. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Tyson was in heaven because there was a train, and Charlie was in heaven because he was outside. He thought the pumpkins were pretty cool and wanted to touch them all. Tyson is ready to go back!

Tyson's First Solo Tube Ride

Here is a video of Tyson riding the tube behind our boat for the first time by himself. I was a nervous wreck, but the rope was really short and we went really slow so he did not fall off. He absolutely loved it! In all the pictures I took he is smiling from ear to ear. He even felt brave enough to wave at us during the ride. When the ride was over we would pull him in and he would say, "One more time!" Since Joel and I are still so excited when he talks we pretty much let him do whatever he wants if he says it in a sentence. (I know bad parenting, but what do you do?) We are pretty sure that he was on the tube for a solid half hour and then cried for another solid half hour wanting to get back on.

Sorry if the video is choppy, I was trying to zoom in with my digital camera and it didn't turn out so well, but you will get the picture. We are all very sad that boating season is over!

Time to get off Tyson!

Why Do Men Always Think They Are Right?

Joel and I were disagreeing about something the other day and this is what Tyson says, "Mommy, Joel is right!" I couldn't believe my ears, did he just say that? Where do kids learn this stuff? (By the way, I was right!)

"Riding My Bike"

Here is the video of Tyson riding his bike. He is so very proud of himself! Charlie is proud of him too!
